Outdoor natural-gas BBQ outlet, gas-box and quick-disconnect planning for patios, decks and shared properties. Speak with Robert to confirm availability, qualifications and the scope for your property.
Start with the actual barbecue
Send the barbecue’s model and fuel specification along with the proposed cooking location. Natural-gas and propane configurations are not interchangeable simply because a hose or fitting appears to connect. Confirm the appliance’s approved configuration with its manufacturer.
Match the outlet and the supply
The gas box, valve, quick disconnect and hose need to be suitable for the appliance and location. Ask the contractor to assess available capacity and pressure, the complete route and the load of other connected equipment. Connector diameter alone does not establish usable capacity.
Plan for the way the patio is used
Discuss clearances, movement of the barbecue, weather exposure and keeping the connection accessible. For a strata balcony or shared patio, confirm permission and building rules before purchasing equipment or arranging installation.
Separate installation from ordinary operation
Have the permanent piping and outlet work assessed and completed by an appropriately qualified contractor. After installation, follow the appliance and connector instructions for their intended use. A quick disconnect is not permission to modify the gas system.
Bring these details to the conversation

- Proposed box and cooking locations
- Other outdoor gas appliances
- Strata permission or property-manager contact
Common questions
Will any quick-connect hose fit my BBQ?
No. The appliance, fuel, pressure, capacity and approved connector requirements need to match. Ask for the correct assembly rather than choosing by appearance.
Can one outlet serve a BBQ and a fire table?
Only if the proposed arrangement is specifically assessed and approved for the equipment. Do not add a splitter and assume the supply is adequate.
