What does the LMR planner do?
The BeeWarm gas-line planner lets you place appliances, connect route sections and enter measurements. It calculates the longest complete entered meter-to-appliance route and the sum of known appliance gas inputs. It does not calculate an approved pipe diameter.
Map connections before adding numbers
Add the meter, then any junctions or regulators, followed by appliances. Drag items into position or use the keyboard-friendly position controls. Choose the upstream connection for each item. The position of a symbol does not determine pipe length: the drawing is a visual aid, and the measurements must come from your actual route.
Include the vertical parts without counting twice
For each section, enter the measured route length and any additional vertical distance not already included. A route across a ceiling and down a wall is longer than its floor-plan projection. Leave inaccessible lengths blank. The planner withholds a complete longest-route result when an appliance path is missing measurements.
A simple example
The built-in demonstration has a 20-foot shared section. One branch adds 15 feet plus a 5-foot vertical section, giving a 40-foot meter-to-appliance route. Another adds 25 feet, giving a 45-foot route. The longest entered route is therefore 45 feet. The example’s appliance inputs are illustrative; replace them with real nameplate gas inputs before discussing a project.
Why that still is not a pipe size
The qualified gas fitter must identify the applicable sizing method and tables, gas type, delivery pressure, allowable pressure drop, material and product, fittings and regulator arrangement. A longest-length method can use the selected length when assessing multiple pipe sections. A route total alone cannot choose a diameter. Consult the relevant manufacturer’s design resources and the actual project requirements.
Export something Robert can use
Download a text brief, save an editable JSON plan, or print the sketch to PDF. You can place an optional floor-plan image beneath the drawing; it stays in your browser tab and is not uploaded. Saved JSON does not include that image. The tool does not email the brief automatically—attach it yourself when you contact Robert.
