Can a Surrey strata book fireplaces together?

Yes. BeeWarm welcomes enquiries for coordinated fireplace service in Surrey condos, apartments, townhouse complexes and other multifamily properties. Group pricing depends on a tight, confirmed service block. Start with the participating fireplaces and access plan, then ask Robert Hamilton to confirm the scope and schedule.

A service day starts with an access plan

For a multifamily property, booking fireplace maintenance is also an access job. One owner may be home all morning; another needs notice for a tenant; a third cannot find the model information. A list of interested residents is a useful start, but it is not yet a workable service route.

BeeWarm’s fireplace-booking beta is intended to make that coordination easier. The public booking page helps councils, property managers and individual owners prepare an enquiry. The next step is a conversation with Rob about the actual property. The beta does not turn an unconfirmed time slot into a guaranteed appointment.

How much does fireplace service cost in Surrey?

BeeWarm’s published prices are CAD per fireplace, before tax. Group bands require tight coordinated bookings accepted by Rob:

  • 1–4 fireplaces: $140 each.
  • 5–9 fireplaces: $120 each.
  • 10–19 fireplaces: $100 each.
  • 20 or more fireplaces: $85 each.

Eight eligible fireplaces at $120 each total $960 before tax. Twelve eligible fireplaces at $100 each total $1,200 before tax. Rob confirms the participating count and service scope before confirming the price.

Scattered visits, separate properties or return appointments do not automatically combine into one discounted block. Tell Rob about access gaps and special requirements. Ask what is included, how additional repairs or parts would be approved, and what happens if participation changes.

One coordinator and a clear resident list

Choose a council member, property manager or volunteer to organise the enquiry. Record each participating unit, its fireplace count, the appropriate access contact and scheduling restrictions. Count fireplaces rather than apartments: the numbers may differ.

Keep the list limited to information the booking needs. Agree who communicates the proposed service window, how access will be provided and who can approve changes. Rob can then review whether the block is practical.

Whether the address is in Guildford, Fleetwood, Newton, Cloverdale or South Surrey, supply the full property address, building or townhouse identifiers, parking instructions and entry arrangements directly with the enquiry. A neighbourhood name alone does not establish a service time or availability.

Collect the model information you can safely access

Different fireplaces have different controls, accessories and manufacturer instructions. If readily accessible without opening or dismantling the appliance, include the manufacturer and model, an existing label photograph, the symptom and the last service date if known. Use unknown rather than guessing.

Tell Rob about a remote that does not respond, a fireplace that will not stay lit or an unresolved previous finding. Model information helps the conversation; it does not diagnose the appliance or establish parts availability. Internal checks and gas work belong with an appropriately qualified professional.

The public fireplace-booking page explains what to prepare. The booking beta is a separate application and may require access. If you cannot enter it, call or email Rob directly.

What should councils and individual owners confirm?

Before circulating a date, establish who is arranging service, who pays and which owners have agreed. For common-property access or shared equipment, ask your manager or council what arrangements apply to this property. Different stratas may handle responsibilities differently.

Ask what completion information will be supplied and how a finding needing a separate repair will be communicated. A booking list, attendance record and service findings serve different purposes. Keep confirmed records with the appropriate owner or manager, and distinguish completed work from recommendations.

A booking app or photograph does not certify an appliance or guarantee an insurance discount.

Can an individual owner book without a group?

Yes. You do not have to wait for the complex. Individual service is published at $140 per fireplace before tax. Confirm scope, access and availability directly. Joining a later group enquiry does not automatically change an existing appointment or price.

Start your Surrey booking enquiry

Send your property address, your role, the estimated participating fireplace count and preferred service period. Include known models and access constraints. Ask whether a coordinated block is suitable, then refine the list before residents commit to a schedule.

Surrey fireplace-booking questions

Is the app fully launched?

No. It is a beta. Confirm an appointment directly with Rob and use the public enquiry route if app access is unavailable.

Do twenty units qualify for $85 each?

The band requires twenty or more participating fireplaces in an accepted tight block, not simply twenty units in a complex. Rob confirms the arrangements.

Does an address reveal the building’s age?

Do not assume it does. Supply a reliable building record if age matters. A map image alone does not verify equipment age or condition.

Are parts and repairs included?

Ask Rob to confirm the exact service scope and approval process for additional work before finalising the booking.
